our roots

In October 2017, Northern California was devastated with wild fires that ravaged more than 210,000 acres destroying more than 8,900 structures and sadly with a loss of life of 44 people.

More than 90,000 people have been forced to evacuate from their homes.

While the communities of Napa, Lake, Sonoma, Mendocino, Butte and Solano will start the process to rebuild, the holidays are fast approaching and many don't have a place to go.

We want to help offer a day of giving thanks and celebrating life around a special meal for those who have been displaced.  This site has been established to connect those displaced with a family that is willing to host people for Thanksgiving.

If you are happy to welcome people from your community into your home on Thanksgiving please register on the site.

If you are a person or family looking for a place to go on Thanksgiving, please register on the site and we will connect you to a host.

Please know we cannot guarantee meals for all.  We will make every effort to connect you with a host for Thanksgiving.  We are local community members who care about our neighbors.
